The world famous ICEHOTEL in Jukkasjärv has approximately 80 rooms built each year from snow and crystal clear ice, taken from the waters of the local River Torne. It is situated 20km north of Kiruna the northernmost city in Sweden, situated in the Lappland province.

Temperatures during our stay were very cold, the average being between around -30 degrees centigrade dropping to -60 degrees when travelling at speed on snowmobiles.
